Overview

TermBuddy is a remote terminal client that connects directly to your own servers. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data TermBuddy handles and how.

Data We Do Not Collect

TermBuddy does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us or any third party. Specifically:

• No analytics or tracking SDKs are included in the app.
• No advertising frameworks are used.
• No user data is sent to our servers — we do not operate any backend servers.
• No crash reporting data is collected by us.

Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device and never leaves it except to connect to your own servers:

• Server credentials — SSH hostnames, usernames, passwords, and keys are stored securely in the iOS/macOS Keychain.
• Session history — Terminal command history and chat messages are cached locally for offline access.
• App preferences — Settings such as theme, language, and notification preferences.

Network Communications

All network traffic from TermBuddy goes directly to servers that you configure. Connections are made via SSH (encrypted) or HTTPS to your own infrastructure. No data passes through any intermediary servers operated by us.

Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, your device token is registered with your own TermBuddy server (running on your infrastructure) via Apple Push Notification service (APNs). We do not have access to your device tokens.

Subscriptions

TermBuddy Pro subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how Apple handles purchase data.

Third-Party Services

TermBuddy does not include any third-party SDKs that collect user data. The only external services involved are:

• Apple APNs — For delivering push notifications, governed by Apple's privacy policy.
• App Store — For subscription management, governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Children's Privacy

TermBuddy is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
