1. Information We Collect

TermBuddy is designed with privacy at its core. We collect minimal data necessary to provide and improve our services:

• Account Information: email address (if you contact support).
• Usage Analytics: anonymous, aggregated usage statistics to improve the app experience. No personal data is included.
• Crash Reports: anonymous crash logs to help us fix bugs.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• Your server credentials, IP addresses, or SSH keys
• Your terminal commands or outputs
• Your files or server data
• Any data transmitted between your device and your server

3. How Your Data Flows

TermBuddy connects directly from your device to your server. There is no intermediate server. Your commands, responses, and files travel exclusively between your device and your server, encrypted via SSH tunnel or TLS with certificate pinning.

4. AI Features

When you use AI features (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI), your prompts are sent directly from your server to the respective AI provider. TermBuddy does not intercept, store, or relay this data.

5. Subscriptions

TermBuddy Pro subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how Apple handles purchase data.

6. Third-Party Services

• Apple Push Notification Service: for sending notifications when tasks complete.
• App Store: for subscription management, governed by Apple's privacy policy.

7. Data Storage

All sensitive information (server credentials, API tokens) is stored exclusively in the system Keychain on your device. We never have access to this data.
